MerleFest, presented by Window World, is proud to announce new artist additions for MerleFest 2019: The Avett Brothers, Molly Tuttle, and Sean McConnell. The annual homecoming of musicians and music fans returns to the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, April 25-28. MerleFest is pleased to welcome these three distinguished artists to the 2019 lineup:

Sierra Hull is pleased to announce the 'Christmas Time Is Here' tour in which each of the four tour stops will be partnered with Toys for Tots and/or a local food bank-- seeking to ease the stress of the holidays for the less fortunate. Each attending fan who donates an unwrapped toy, canned foods, or makes a monetary donation to the local food bank on-site will receive a free signed Weighted Mind (Hull's latest release, a GRAMMY-nominated record) poster while supplies last. Together, with her band (Justin Moses, Kai Welch, Eddie Barbash, Ethan Jodziewicz, and Jamie Dick), Hull aims to bring Christmas joy to all-- those attending the shows and those in need this December. The country music community is mourning the loss of Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry member Roy Clark who passed away this morning following complications of pneumonia. He was 85.

See the big reveal below! Kenny Chesney and David Lee Murphy won Musical Event of the Year for "Everything's Gonna Be Alright." Music Video of the Year went to Thomas Rhett and director TK McKamy for "Marry Me." "Good Morning America's" Lara Spencer has also been added as a presenter for Country Music's Biggest Night, hosted for the 11th consecutive year by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, and airing live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville tonight at 8:00 PM/ET (7:00 PM/CT) on the ABC Television Network.

Eric Church has just been added as a performer on “The 52nd Annual CMA Awards,” broadcasting live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 8:00 PM/ET (7:00 PM/CT) on the ABC Television Network. Church is a 25-time CMA Awards nominee and three-time winner, having won Album of the Year in both 2012 and 2016 as well as Musical Event of the Year in 2015. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood return for the 11th consecutive year to host the CMA Awards.

 The 2019 Country Music Cruise is SOLD OUT, it was announced today by StarVista LIVE, the premiere company producing seven star-studded, music-themed cruises. The popular voyage, which sets sail January 27, 2019 with some of the biggest names in music, has recorded sellouts in each of its first six years. 

Last night in Nashville, Tennessee, music legend Ricky Skaggs officially became one of the newest members of the Country Music Hall of Fame. At the official Medallion Ceremony held in the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum's CMA Theatre, Hall of Fame member Garth Brooks, through tear-filled eyes, formally inducted his musical mentor into the historic institution.

Last night in Raleigh, N.C. at the 29th Annual International Bluegrass Music Awards, 15-time GRAMMY® winner Ricky Skaggs was officially inducted into the IBMA Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame. 

Irish quartet We Banjo 3 brings their innovative musical-fusion style dubbed "Celtgrass" to Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre in Malibu on Friday, October 19 at 8 p.m.

Country music's finest will join ASCAP in honoring GRAMMY, CMA, ACM, AMA and Billboard Award-winning artist and songwriter Lee Ann Womack when she accepts the prestigious ASCAP Golden Note Award at this year's ASCAP Country Music Awards on Monday, November 12. The exclusive, invitation-only gala, which celebrates the songwriters and publishers of ASCAP's most performed country songs of the previous year, will draw hundreds of country songwriters, artists and industry VIPs to the event in downtown Nashville.

Country singer-songwriter Erin Enderlin has released her latest single 'These Boots.' The single was premiered last week during Erin's fourth appearance at the Grand Ole Opry. SONGS FROM LYON COUNTY arrives today, preceded by early critical acclaim. The concept album is the brainchild of award-winning singer/songwriter Dennis Duff and is offered by Gracey Holler Music. For the project, Duff assembled gifted vocalists, including Paul Brewster (Ricky Skaggs band), Josh Shilling (Mountain Heart) and IBMA award-winner Bradley Walker, as well as rising star, Holly Pitney (Mo Pitney band). Duff sings lead on four of the album's nine song

Yesterday, August 21, in downtown Nashville, country and comedy music legend Ray Stevens received his very own star on the Music City Walk of Fame. Stevens' friend and fellow GRAMMY® Award-winning music colleague Ricky Skaggs presented him with the honor.

Park City Institute presents Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers, Today August 16, 2018 at 6:00 P.M., at City Park in Park City. The show is part of the 2018 St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights Concert Series. Gates open at 4:30 P.M.

Hornsby draws frequently from classical, jazz, bluegrass, folk, Motown, gospel, rock, blues, and jam band musical traditions.
