Portland Playhouse’s annual production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL continues to be essential holiday viewing. It’s a gorgeous piece of theatre that honors tradition while finding ways to surprise even its most devoted returnees. Consider me among them, already looking forward to next year.
TexArts delivers a sparkling White Christmas that feels like stepping straight into a vintage snow globe. Ray De Jones charms, Maclain Dassati channels Danny Kaye with his own flair, and the ensemble dazzles with polished taps and lush harmonies. Lavish period costumes, timeless Irving Berlin tunes, and pure holiday joy. A cozy, nostalgic treat for the season.
