Just last night, Roundabout Theatre Company welcomed Kelli O'Hara (Lilli Vanessi), Will Chase (FrEd Graham), Robert Fairchild (Bill), Helene Yorke (Lois), Chuck Cooper (Harry Trevor/Baptista), Norm Lewis (Harrison), Richard Kind (Gangster) and John Pankow (Gangster) for a one-night-only Benefit Concert Reading of Kiss Me, Kate, with music and lyrics by Cole Porter and book by Sam and Bella Spewack, music direction by Patrick Vaccariello and choreography by Warren Carlyle. Roundabout's Associate Artistic Director, Scott Ellis, directed this special event.

It's a lot to ask of a leading lady to make audiences forget Barbra Streisand in the role that catapulted her to stardom. That's one of the reasons why FUNNY GIRL, the musical that forever linked Streisand to the title character Fanny Brice, has never been revived on Broadway. Well, look no more, producers. If ever there was an actress who could fill Streisand's shoes and make FUNNY GIRL her own, it's the star who's currently electrifying audiences in the role at North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly: Shoshnna Bean.

American Dance Machine for the 21st Century (ADM21) returns to New York City's Joyce Theater (175 Eighth Avenue), playing through Sunday, January 3rd. Nikki Feirt Atkins is Founder and Producing Artistic Director of ADM21. Directed by Tony Award winner Wayne Cilento (Wicked, Sweet Charity revival, Aida, The Who's Tommy), this year's program includes theatre dances from 'Broadway and Beyond' with live music provided by musical director Eugene Gwozdz.
