Theatre LA Cares has announced the third annual Twisted Broadway fundraiser, this year in support of Red Cross Australia animal rescue. Hosted by Jason Graae with musical direction by Jan Roper and directed by Linda Kerns, the curtain will rise at 8pm on Tuesday, March 10, at Feinstein's at Vitello's in Studio City.

Medwish International hosts Music for Medwish an intimate evening featuring some of Broadway's best in Los Angeles on Monday, April 15th at 8pm at the Rockwell Table and Stage (1714 N Vermont Ave). On Monday, June 27, A LITTLE NEW MUSIC debuted in its new venue, the historic Catalina Jazz Club, showcasing the best of new musical theatre songwriting with an incredible cast of Broadway and LA talent. Comedian, actress, and writer Chris Farah ('Superstore,' 'Modern Family,' 'Chelsea Lately,' solo show/cult character FANCY!) hosted the evening alongside the ALNM band (Will Yanez, Eliana Athayde, and Alex Stickels) and resident musical director Bryan Blaskie.

Rena Strober (Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, Disney's Liv & Maddie) is currently living & working in Los Angeles. When not working in TV/Film/Animation, she teaches singing at the Academy of Music for the Blind. One of Rena's students is 7 year old Gavin Stevens who was born blind from a rare condition known as LCA. Small in stature but big in voice, Gavin recently sang the National anthem for the LA Lakers & Kings. He has won hearts all over the world. His voice and love of duets inspired Rena to produce a fully filmed recreation of the classic song in Little Shop of Horrors. Gavin is the perfect miniature Rick Moranis while Rena embodies Ellen Green. Watch the video below!
