The fast-rising Danish singer-songwriter Soleima has been making waves since her latest single “STFU” dropped earlier this summer, and now she's following it up with an ode to heartbreak in her new single called “Cheers for the Tears” that's officially out today through Big Beat Records. The laid-back, feel-good song was produced by Big Beat's own Vasco, and co-written by Big Taste (Justin Bieber, Madison Beer, Broods, Dua Lipa), Jerker Hansson (Panic! At The Disco, Charli XCX), and Ivy Adara (Cheat Codes, Gryffin, Maggie Lindemann), making for a superstar collaboration all the way around.

Nominees for the 6th Annual Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) Awards were announced today by LMGI President Mike Fantasia. The awards honor the outstanding and creative visual contributions by location professionals and film commissions in film, television and commercials from around the globe. The LMGI Awards also recognize outstanding service by film commissions for their support 'above and beyond' during the production process. With the change in date of this year's LMGI Awards from April to September, the 6th Annual LMGI Awards timeline is unique in that there is an 18-month calendar of eligibility. Productions that were first released between January 1, 2018 and May 31, 2019 are eligible. Winners will be revealed during the formal ceremony on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Broad Theatre in Santa Monica.

On August 4th audiences are invited to dance the night away 'The Chicago Blues Brothers' - Europe's biggest and best-loved production of the Blues Brothers which comes to the West End London's Savoy Theatre 

Returning for its third US edition Independent Venue Week has announced that next year's event will take place from July 6-12, 2020. With support from Independent Venue Week's partners, including exclusive ticketing partner Eventbrite, the event grew tremendously in its second American iteration, from 20 venues in 20 cities in 2018 to more than 80 venues across more than 50 cities in 2019. 'In Independent Venue Week's second year, our goal was to increase awareness for both the venues and this national initiative,' says Rev. Moose, Managing Partner of Marauder, the producers of the US event, 'Throughout the event we met with independent venue owners and promoters from around the country talking about their specific needs. Moving forward, we hope to have Independent Venue Week be a gathering opportunity for one focused week and a form of support for the rest of the year.'

To celebrate the new photography and history book, 'Weir Farm National Historic Site' (Arcadia Publishing), its author Xiomaro will be presenting an illustrated talk and book signing on Saturday, July 27, 3:00 pm, at the Mark Twain Library in Redding. The free event will also conclude the library's exhibit of a select number of his fine art photographs that are featured in the book.
