TEVYE SERVED RAW made its New York premiere in 2018 to unanimous rave reviews and, by popular demand, will return this Monday, January 28th to its home at The Playroom Theater, 151 West 46 Street (just east of Seventh Ave.), where it will play through February 13th.

The TEVYE SERVED RAW troupe – currently preparing to resume performances at The Playroom Theater – will present a selection from their show on April 15th at Carnegie Hall, as part of FROM SHTETL TO STAGE: A CELEBRATION OF YIDDISH MUSIC AND CULTURE. The evening will also feature Mike Burstyn, Paula Vogel, Avi Hoffman, Eleanor Reissa, Joanne Borts, Daniel Kahn, violinist Gil Shaham, and pianist Evgeny Kissin.

Sholem Aleichem's Tevye stories formed the basis of Fiddler on the Roof. TEVYE SERVED RAW presents this material 'raw,' i.e., as it was created in Europe, before being Americanized for Broadway.

Teen heartthrobs in the late '50's and '60's, Frankie Avalon, Fabian and Bobby Rydell have been performing together as Dick Fox's Golden Boys in packed venues across the country since 1985. Always a fan favorite, they return to the Van Wezel stage to take the audience on a trip down memory lane! On Tuesday, January 29th at 7:30 p.m., hear all-time greatest hits like Volare (Bobby Rydell), Tiger (Fabian) and one of the biggest hits of the era, Venus (Frankie Avalon). The Golden Boys have done it all from topping the charts as teen idols and selling out shows to appearing in major films and television. There are times I drag my reluctant husband to a show because if I didn't, I might not ever see him. And I'm pretty sure he would tell you he finds most shows uninspiring. However, as we left The Kennedy Theatre tonight following Theatre Raleigh's OH WHAT A HOLY NIGHT holiday show, he turned to me and said, 'That was a GFE, a good fun evening out.' I probably could end this write-up right there, because coming from him, that's saying a lot. But I will expound a bit more to say that this production is not only a 'GFE,' but also showcases for some of the Triangle's most talented singers, including Yolanda Rabun, Shayla LaGrange, L.E. Barone, Areon Mobasher, and Derek Robinson. They are joined by Dave Toole, who is not from Raleigh, but may be considered an honorary North Carolinian at this point since this is his third production here in as many months.

Burlesque legends Dirty Martini and Julie Atlas Muz are to appear in the festive edition of the variety show Wilfredo a Go Go! at the Slipper Room 12/17. Circus icon Hovey Burgess is also earmarked to perform alongside burlesque starlet Lil' Miss Lixx.

ABC celebrates the most wonderful time of the year with special '25 Days of Christmas' programming starting Dec. 1. The network joins Freeform, Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior in this fan-favorite TV event. The 'Kickoff to Christmas' begins in late November with perennial holiday treat 'Santa Claus is Comin' to Town.' The month of December is filled with special Christmas-themed episodes, the return of 'The Great Christmas Light Fight' and 'The Great American Baking Show: Holiday Edition,' and timeless animated classics and holiday films. The celebration continues after Christmas with New Year's-themed programming ringing in 2019.

The Cleveland Orchestra's annual Christmas Concerts are a holiday tradition, and Severance Hall is the destination in Northeast Ohio for families and friends to gather and celebrate the season. On Friday, December 14, this year's series of eleven concerts conducted by Richard Kaufman begins - all amidst the Yuletide splendor of Severance Hall, which will be decked out with dazzling decorations. The Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, Cleveland Orchestra Youth Chorus Chamber Ensemble, Cleveland Orchestra Children's Chorus - and guest choirs from The College of Wooster and the The University of Akron - join the Orchestra to fill your festivities with uplifting and joyful music.

In the spirit of the Roaring 20's come, The First International Vaudeville Con will be held at the Pawcatuck VFW 160 South Broad St. Pawcatuck, Connecticut on October 26, 2018 to help the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center with a food drive for nonperishable items. This event is 1920s and Steampunk themed, so costumes are highly encouraged.... prizes will be awarded. The roaring twenties was a true renaissance for America and was the foundation of modern music and entertainment.

On Thursday, July 12th, Hollywood maven and powerhouse, Donelle Dadigan, (Co-Founder of the Jose Iturbi Foundation/President & Founder of The Hollywood Museum, Chairman of The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce) invited a select group of VIPs for an evening of dinner and a concert at The Hollywood Bowl as the Los Angeles Philharmonic presented an evening of Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No.2 under the stars with Behzod Abduraimov on piano and conductor, Gustavo Dudamel.

Hovey Burgess, the internationally celebrated juggler, clown and circus performer has announced his appearance at the Sideshow Theater (Coney Island USA) today July 14th in Bostock & Burgess' Arena of Exotic Beasts, a one-off theatrical event which pays homage to the Bostock circus menagerie resident in Coney Island during the early part of the 20th century.
