Help Make a Difference! New Jersey’s Jesse Walker, host of the online celebrity show “The Jesse Walker Show,” in support of Project ALS, will join 2-time Tony Award winner Judy Kaye for a special benefit virtual performance of the Broadway musical Nice Work If You Can Get It to honor the love and memory of the late Rebecca Luker.

The University of Montevallo held a dedication ceremony on November 18th for its new Center for the Arts facility. The university unveiled the Rebecca J. Luker Stage in the DiscoverShelby Theatre, named after its alum, the late Rebecca Luker. Luker graduated from the University of Montevallo in 1984.

Originally scheduled back in September, the wait was worth it to hear Laura Benanti sing selections from her roles on Broadway and a few tracks from her 2020 self-titled studio album in her debut Cabaret at the Center which was part uproarious stand-up comedy act, and part beguiling Broadway/Jazz concert.
