Peter Benjamin Foley died at home on August 27, 2021, after surviving ocular (uveal) melanoma, a rare cancer, for more than 10 years. He was 54.

Michael Longoria will return to the Greenroom 42 stage, one of New York City’s top cabaret venues, on Friday, July 30th at 7pm. Longoria will serenade his audience in an evening of contemporary summer lovin’ with fresh takes on the radio hits of Cyndi Lauper, Troye Sivan, The Weekend, Erasure, Billie Eilish and more.

LA NEW PLAY PROJECT has announced new support for original work to be presented on the Los Angeles stage. LANPP has initiated a two-tiered grant program offering opportunities for $20,000 grants to playwrights, and an additional grant up to $20,000 to producing entities helping support productions. 

Michael Longoria is among the stars set to reopen The Green Room 42, one of New York City's top cabaret venues, after more than a year without live indoor entertainment.

Da'Vine Joy Randolph, a Philadelphia native, made her Broadway debut in 'Ghost.' She was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role as Oda Mae Brown. 

Tonight at 7pm, original Jersey Boy Michael Longoria will be presenting a virtual concert, singing movie love songs from my album LIKE THEY DO IN THE MOVIES.  

Flying Over Sunset is officially in previews on Broadway! The musical, with book and direction by James Lapine, music by Tom Kitt, and lyrics by Michael Korie, and choreography by Michelle Dorrance will open Thursday, April 16.

The music video is directed by Matt Simpkins and stars Longoria and Anthony Crouchelli. 'Kiss Me (Like They Do In The Movies)' is the first single from Longoria's new studio album, Michael Longoria: Like They Do In The Movies, available now at www.BroadwayRecords.com, www.Amazon.com, in stores and across digital platforms. Christine Andreas opened her show at the Beach Cafe last night by telling the intimate group of Cabaret lovers that contrary to current trends, her show had no theme. It would simply contain songs she liked to sing. By the end of her performance it was obvious the show did have a theme…..Great Songs Sung by a Great SingerActor. I've often said that the best musical experience is when the singer happens to be the pianist. The fingers join the vocal chords and create the most well planned arrangements. I may be wrong. Having your spouse as your pianist and music director also creates a rare and inspired musical experience. Martin Silvestri creates exceptional accompaniments. He is a true artist at the keyboard and happens also to be an Accordion virtuoso, which is extremely effective when Christine sings her unforgettable Piaf medley.

Quintessence Theatre Group, a professional classic theatre company located in Philadelphia's Mt. Airy neighborhood, takes on Shakespeare's greatest tragedy this spring. KING LEAR, a searing drama about the dangers of absolute power, comes to Quintessence from March 19, 2019 through April 20, 2019. Opening night is Saturday, March 23 at 7:30PM.

Meghan Lantzy will become the new General Manager at Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; Harold Wolpert, Executive Director; James Houghton, Founder), the company announced today. Ms. Lantzy comes to Signature from Lincoln Center Theater, where she has worked for more than 12 years.  

Walnut Street Theatre's 2018-19 Independence Studio on 3 season continues with the wacky holiday musical revue, WINTER WONDERETTES. Directed by Richard Parison, the production begins with previews on November 13th, opens November 15th, and continues through December 30th.
