Scripps Ranch Theatre concludes their 42nd Season with the return of the dynamic Out On A Limb - New Plays From America’s Finest City, a festival featuring brand-new original short plays. 

The Finborough Theatre's new digital initiative #FinboroughFrontier continues with the second in an ongoing season of online readings and performances of Ukrainian Plays as a part of the Worldwide Ukrainian Play Reading Series, a collaboration with the Theatre of Playwrights in Kyiv to read new Ukrainian plays around the world.

This summer, the Belgrade Theatre’s Main Stage plays host to a gripping new political thriller. Dead Lies is the debut play from best-selling crime novelist Hilary Bonner, and stars Hollyoaks and Holby City actor Jeremy Edwards, playing from Weds 29 – Thurs 30 June.

In my opinion SOMETHING ROTTEN! is a benchmark for The Palace Theatre. It’s a massive production for anyone to attempt, but to succeed so spectacularly is awe inspiring. It’s all due to Ron Watson and his stellar cast and crew.

As Alice Cooper sings, “School’s out for summer!” Here in the South, the temperature rises, and everyone flocks to indoor activities like movies, shopping, and the closest air conditioning. Instead of these boring activities, why not find your way to one of Atlanta’s theatres?

Occasionally a show comes along that ignores all the established rules of what musical theatre is supposed to be and instead opts to poke fun at, well, the theatre itself. Something Rotten, the acclaimed Broadway hit which opened in 2015 and was nominated for ten Tony awards, including Best Musical, is one of those shows. Unapologetically silly and enthusiastically fun, the audience can't help but be charmed by its chaotic joyfulness.
