The 2023-24 season is Jobsite's 25th year of bringing the Tampa Bay area exciting, engaging live theater experiences between the Jaeb Theater and Shimberg Playhouse as the Straz Center's official resident theater company.

Detroit Repertory Theatre's 66th is closing out their season with the Michigan professional premier of the Pulitzer Prize-winning show Sweat by multi-ward winning playwright Lynn Nottage. Sweat opens on May 5th at 8:30 P.M. with a champagne reception and the show closes Sunday, June 25th at 2:00 P.M.

Philadelphia's scariest new haunted attraction is reopening its doors for a one-night-only pop-up event on Saturday, April 29th. Lincoln Mill Haunted House will present Viktor’s Vengeance, Halfway To Halloween, featuring a special spring-time haunted tour in the chamber that has been lit up in ultraviolet light and features messages from the mill’s inhabitants.

Love, laughter, and latchkeys are the main tenants to Cygnet Theatre’s PRESENT LAUGHTER, playing through April 29th which brings a strong cast to bring the laugh in this fizzy, funny farce.

Encore Vocal Ensemble has announced its spring concert, Encore's Totally Awesome 1980s Mixtape, which will take audiences Back to the 80s in two fun and vibrant live performances. Celebrating well-loved fan-favorite music from popular movies, TV, Broadway, and beyond, Encore will perform this show on both Friday and Saturday, June 9 and 10, 2023.

Based on Tim Burton's 1988 Academy Award-winning film of the same name, Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager who is obsessed with death. Luckily, her new house is haunted by a recently deceased couple and a degenerate demon. When Lydia calls on this ghost to scare away her insufferable parents, Beetlejuice comes up with the perfect plan, which involves exorcism, arranged marriages, and a girl scout who gets scared out of her wit.

This new adaptation is a playful and charming take on a classic story, but its complexity may not be suitable for very young children

Confidently directed by Beki Baker, in a stylish and rather sophisticated production led by two of Lipscomb Theatre’s finest – Victoria Griffin as Lizzy Bennet and Bryce Dunn as Mr. Darcy – Pride and Prejudice is clearly one of the most entertaining and quite joyful productions we’ve seen since the pandemic has loosened its grip on theater and allowed a return to near-normalcy stagewise.
