The Canadian premiere of THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL will play Toronto's Meridian Hall for the 2019 holiday season. Performances begin December 17 for eight performances only. State Theatre New Jersey presents The SpongeBob Musical for four performances from Friday, November 29 to Sunday, December 1. The North American Tour of the critically acclaimed, award-winning THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL will make its San Antonio premiere at the Majestic Theatre for four performances, January 24-26. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, November 8.

Joining a long list of animated shows adapted into Broadway musicals, this one is set apart by the clever collaboration with a wide variety of popular artists who composed individual songs, seamlessly curated, orchestrated, and arranged by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winner Tom Kitt (of Next to Normal). Based on the television series by Stephen Hillenburg, it was conceived and directed by Tina Landau and features a book by Kyle Jarrow, but the eclectic score is the crème de la crème of THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL.

Following a critically lauded run on Broadway, members of the original award-winning Broadway company of The SpongeBob Musical: Live On Stage! will reunite to film the show for television in front of a live theater audience. The live television production will capture all-new depths of theatrical innovation where the power of optimism really can save the world. The SpongeBob Musical: Live On Stage! will air on Nickelodeon this December.

SpongeBob the Musical will be bringing Bikini Bottom to the Overture Center for the Arts in Madison, WI from October 8 to 13th, 2019.
