The Musical,” selections from the upcoming production of Dorothy Dandridge! The Musical, with book and lyrics by Trey Ellis and music and lyrics by Shelton L. Becton, directed by Tamara Tunie at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall.
In this musical production, based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks animated film, unlikely hero Shrek finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude, and more than a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Shrek the Musical is irreverent fun for the whole family.

Faithful Friday with Angel Blue aims to help viewers 'keep the faith,' and believe in themselves. Guests welcomed via video hook-ups so far have included actress Laverne Cox, fashion and Instagram star Sandra Violante, and singers Christine Goerke, Golda Schultz, Matthew Anchel, Lucas Meachem, and Thomas Hampson.
The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present singer/dancer Jared Grimes, who brought an evening of high energy, non-stop, genre-fusing music and dance to the Birdland stage.
