The Winter Park Playhouse has announced their 2oth Anniversary Mainstage Series of Professional Musicals for the 2022-2023. This new 6-Show anniversary series boasts some of the most popular productions from the past two decades of Winter Park Playhouse professional musical theatre. 

An extension to booking has been announced for the Olivier award-winning production of Mary Poppins with tickets now on sale until 10 July 2022 at the Prince Edward Theatre. 

International concert star and recording artist Maxine Linehan has released a new video for “The Perfect Year,” an adaptation of the song from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard and the hit single off her acclaimed holiday album. The video was shot on location in Los Angeles by Point of View pictures. Watch the new music video now!

Association of Theatrical Press Agents & Managers  retired member Terry M. Lilly. Terry was a Press Agent on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and across the country, who came into membership in September of 1977. He passed away peacefully at home on November 24, 2021 after a long illness, surrounded by loved ones.

Maxine Linehan has released a new single, “Evergreen,” off her acclaimed holiday album, This Time of Year. Inspired by the evergreen trees populating the backyard garden of her Vermont home, Maxine Linehan’s newest single is a tribute to love’s ability to endure even in the darkest of times — like an evergreen surviving the harshest of winters.

SHOUT! the Mod Musical will return to London next Spring in a glittering new production being produced at Upstairs at the Gatehouse, Highgate Village, from Tuesday 15 March until Sunday 17 April 2022, with Press Night on Thursday 17 March 2022 at 7.30pm.

That is the task that Mark Corpron sets for himself in his show MOVING ON: SONGS OF JOURNEY, which opened last night at Don’t Tell Mama. The show sets out to explore not the destinations we arrive at in life, but rather the journeys that happen in between those destinations. It focuses on a soul with a permanent case of wanderlust and the loneliness that often accompanies such globe-trotting adventures.

The York Theatre Company in association with Riki Kane Larimer, will present the world premiere of Cheek to Cheek: Irving Berlin in Hollywood, a song and dance celebration featuring the music and lyrics of the legendary Irving Berlin, with book by Barry Kleinbort, music direction by David Hancock Turner, and directed by Randy Skinner.

Somewhere in the middle of her show COMIN’ AROUND AGAIN, which opened tonight at 54 Below, Liz Callaway casually mentioned that this year Merrily We Roll Along will celebrate its 40th anniversary. How is it possible that Liz Callaway (Baby, Cats, Miss Saigon, The Three Musketeers, The Look of Love) has been entertaining Broadway audiences for 40 years? Her voice is as fresh and supple as it was all those years ago. She has always had a remarkable instrument, always squarely in the center of the pitch, with perfect diction. She has the ability to belt and still sound like she’s just talking. She has amazing technique that never calls attention to itself. It is a voice you never grow tired of listening to.
