BEAUTY FREAK, a new play by James Clements, has officially opened Off-Broadway at the cell theatre. The production is directed by Danilo Gambini and features a cast portraying historical figures connected to filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl. Check out photos from opening night.

Theater For The New City Premieres The New Comedy THE CHESAPEAKE CHICKS This October

Karen Lynn Gorney, star of the movie “Saturday Night Fever” and “All My Children” joins the cast as Carrie in The Chesapeake Chicks, a brand-new comedy by Peter Zachari premiering at Theater for the New City. Gorney is joined by Rebecca Hoodwin as Rita, Margo Singaliese as Alice, Nora Falk as Carrie, Andrew Cuccaro as Matthew and Peter Coleman as The Officer.

Sydney Philharmonia Choirs Announces 2022 Season

Programmed by long-standing Artistic & Music Director, Brett Weymark OAM, this richly diverse season traverses choral classics by Mozart, Bach, Haydn and Handel; the glorious colours of Puccini; living repertoire by Pēteris Vasks and Eric Whitacre; and six newly commissioned short works from local Sydney composers Jessica Wells, Aija Draguns, Tomas Parrish-Cheynoweth, Aiden Rosa, Maria Lopes, and Melbourne’s Stuart Greenbaum.

Live Performance of THE GRAY AREA to be Presented at the Gene Frankel Theatre

The live show, which was made possible by a City Artist Corps grant from the New York Foundation of the Arts, will offer a rare and exciting look under the hood of audio drama -- with practical sound effects being performed on stage. But the show has been designed with theatre in mind.
