The world premiere of Mischief Theatre's Magic Goes Wrong, the new collaboration from the creators of The Play That Goes Wrong and magicians Penn & Teller, opened in the West End yesterday, January 8 at London's Vaudeville Theatre.

Albie Selznick, life-time member of the Magic Castle and creator/performer of the hit theatrical magic show Smoke and Mirrors, returns to the Santa Monica Playhouse with his trademark MAGIC MONDAY show, every Monday evening through the end of August. Each week will feature a new and different lineup of world-class, award-winning magicians and outstanding variety acts from The Magic Castle, America's Got Talent, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Masters of Illusion, and Wizard Wars, promising an unforgettable season of show-stopping feats including sleight of hand, interactive parlor magic, and mind-blowing illusions.

NBC (7.696 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was back in front on Monday thanks to new episodes of 'The Voice' (8.932 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1) and 'The Enemy Within' (5.224 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6).

FOX (15.745 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.5, #1) was the network to beat on Thursday with season highs from 'Thursday Night Football Pre-Game' (12.416 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.2, #2) and 'Thursday Night Football' (16.411 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.8, #1).

Local master illusionist David Caserta, star of the State Theatre's annual Halloween spectacular Haunted Illusions, will make a special appearance to State Theatre Acting Camp students on Thursday, July 12th  in the State Theatre's main hall. There will be two sessions:  11:45 am - 12:30pm for the morning session students and 1:30pm - 2:15 pm for the afternoon students. 

 Atlas Obscura presents See/Saw, an evening with performer and award-winning magician Siegfried Tieber. Opening on Thursday, September 14, 2017 and running for four weeks, Tieber will play host, historian, and illusionist as he guides intimate audiences on an unconventional journey. An immersion into a magician's mind, See/Saw is an invitation to take a closer look at the art of conjuring with playing cards: a contemporary take on an ancient art form, where the important question isn't how, but why. This limited engagement will take place at Square Rhino Projects in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles. Our host's ambition is to share (and infect us with) his passion for a beautiful but often misunderstood art form.
