LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS & McCOY RIGBY ENTERTAINMENT invite you to 'Seize the Day' as they present the fifth and final show of its 2017-2018 season (and the 40thanniversary of the iconic theatre) with Disney's NEWSIES, book by Harvey Fierstein, music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Jack Feldman, musical direction by Brent Crayon and directed and choreographed by Richard J. The 67th Music Circus season continues with the hilarious 9 to 5 The Musical, featuring a score by country music legend Dolly Parton. Based on the beloved hit movie, this office place comedy comes to the round stage for the first time in Music Circus history. Performances of 9 to 5 are Tuesday, July 25 through Sunday, July 30th at the Wells Fargo Pavilion.

After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento, California Musical Theatre has confirmed casting for all five shows in the 67th Music Circus season. The cast is loaded with Broadway veterans-some of whom are making their Music Circus debuts-Tony Award nominees, and audience favorites from previous Music Circus productions.

Producers Paul Blake and Mike Bosner and The Nederlander Organization announced today the launch of an online ticket lottery for Andrew Lloyd Webber's iconic musical, Sunset Boulevard. Three-time Tony Award-winner Glenn Close won London's Evening Standard Award for her iconic portrayal of Norma Desmond in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Sunset Boulevard. Close made her West End debut in bravura sold-out limited engagement at the English National Opera (ENO) in April 2016. The award was presented last night, Sunday, November 13, at a ceremony hosted by Sir Elton John and Evening Standard owner Evgeny Lebedev.
