The 65th Music Circus season continues with Peter Pan, a high-flying, magical journey to Neverland that critics call "purely delightful…ageless…a wonderful tradition." The cast includes Broadway veterans, Music Circus audience favorites, and talented actors making their Music Circus debut this season. Performances are Tuesday, July 21 through Sunday, July 26.

Music Circus opened its 2015 season Tuesday evening with Glenn Casale's enchanting production of the Lerner and Loewe classic "My Fair Lady." Casale's direction and Bob Richard's choreography scatter gems of endearing humor throughout. At three hours, the show drags at times, but the lengthy dialogue and excellent character development also find a forte in California Musical Theatre's production.

After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento, California Musical Theatre has confirmed casting for all six shows in the 65th Music Circus season. The stellar cast for the season is loaded with Broadway veterans, some of whom are making their Music Circus debuts, Tony nominees and audience favorites from previous Music Circus productions.

With the show's Broadway debut in 1951, followed by the 1956 Academy-Award-winning film adaption, Rodger's and Hammerstein's THE KING AND I has been captivating audiences for over 60 years. Yul Brenner, the most iconic and well-known of the actors who have played the King, not only starred in both stage and film incarnations of this classic musical, but he brought the show's national tour to the Music Hall at Fair Park in 1989, where the acclaimed musical is currently being revived by Dallas Summer Musicals. Though the current production's leader may lack Brenner's clout and charisma, this locally produced musical provides a high-quality, dazzling opportunity to celebrate and enjoy this timeless classic.

The five-time Tony Award-nominated Rock of Ages played its final performance last night, January 18, 2015 after 22 preview and 2,328 Broadway performances, solidifying its spot as the 27th longest running show in Broadway history. BroadwayWorld has confirmed that original ROCK OF AGES Broadway cast member Mitchell Jarvis, who played Lonny when the show first opened, has rejoined the cast for its final weeks on the Great White Way as Stacee Jaxx. Jarvis succeeds YouTube star Chester See.
