Irish Arts Center (IAC), the arts and cultural center dedicated to projecting a dynamic image of Ireland and Irish America for the 21st century, is proud to welcome back fiddle player Martin Hayes, "one of Ireland's great musical exports" (WNYC), for a week-long residency, April 25-29, to take place in and out of their current home on 51st Street. Each of these five evenings, many of which are curated by Hayes himself, will feature special guests from within and beyond the world of Irish traditional music, breaking barriers and taking audiences on an unforgettable artistic journey.

Irish Repertory Theatre and Dot Dot Productions, in association with The American Irish Historical Society, present the return engagement of The Dead, 1904 - an immersive adaptation of James Joyce's classic story, 'The Dead,' adapted by the Pulitzer Prize winning Irish poet Paul Muldoon (Moy Sand and Gravel) and novelist Jean Hanff Korelitz (Admission, You Should Have Known).

Multiple Grammy-winning sextet Eighth Blackbird, Musical America's 2017 ensemble of the year, joins forces with Iarla Lion ird, vocalist with the Irish music supergroup The Gloaming, for the world premiere recording of Olag n: A Cantata in Doublespeak, a contemporary updating of an ancient Irish legend, with music by Princeton University's Dan Trueman, who also plays fiddle on the album, and text by Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Paul Muldoon.

Composer Daron Hagen and librettist Paul Muldoon's opera is a musical homage to architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The production by Urban Arias at Atlas Performing Arts Center is a delight. World class singers deliver a larger than life story and an historical tragedy few have ever heard of.

The series, which takes place at Irish Arts Center (553 West 51st Street, New York) on February 23, March 23 and April 27, will feature Tobin and Robson joined by special guests consisting of some of New York's best Irish and international musicians to play sets and share stories about music's greatest artists and treasures.

The series, which takes place at Irish Arts Center (553 West 51st Street, New York) on February 13, March 13 and April 10, will feature guest appearances by some of the biggest names is music and literature, including So Percussion, Lisa Dwan, The Knights, Bill Flanagan, Brenda Shaughnessy, Marie Howe and many more.

Even before breaking ground on their new home, IAC will welcome audiences into the existing Cybert Tire site for Rooms, a site-specific theatrical installation by the great Irish playwright Enda Walsh (May 3-28). IAC will present Rooms alongside St. Ann's Warehouse premiere of Walsh's new play, Arlington (May 3-28), making for a season of Walsh works in New York, supported by Culture Ireland.
