The 250th anniversary of Bath's favourite writer is celebrated in fitting style with a new stage adaptation of Jane Austen's comedy of manners, Emma.  

Theatre Royal Bath Productions has announced further casting for the upcoming West End run of Michael Frayn’s multi award-winning farce, Noises Off which will play at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 27 September - 16 December 2023.

The Royal Shakespeare Company’s (RSC) 2022 production of All’s Well That Ends Well will be broadcast on Sky Arts (Freeview Channel 11) on Monday 3 July at 8pm.

The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) has today announced casting for its forthcoming production of All's Well That Ends Well, which runs between 16 August – 8 October 2022 in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Seen at major festivals around the world to huge acclaim, The Suppliant Women now comes to the Gulbenkian Arts Centre, Canterbury as the first production in a cycle of four plays to be presented over the next few years. 

David Calder and Nicholas Le Prevost will join Henry Goodman in The Life of Galileo by Bertolt Brecht, in David Edgar's revised translation, directed by Jonathan Church, running at Chichester Festival Theatre from 24 April a?" 16 May with a press night on 29 April.

Over 200,000 new tickets are released for sale today (9 September 2019) for TINA a?" THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL based on the life of legendary artist Tina Turner which is now booking at the Aldwych Theatre in the West End to 27 June 2020.

Aisha Jawando, who has been with the Company since its world premiere in Spring 2018, steps up to play the title role in TINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL from 8 October 2019.  Having originally played Tina's sister Alline Bullock, Jawando has subsequently performed the iconic role of Tina at certain performances.

Theatre Royal Bath today announces full casting for the UK premiere of Samuel D. Hunter's The Whale. The production will run at the Ustinov Studio from 26 April to 2 June*, with opening night for press on 3 May.

Artistic director of Theatr Clwyd, Tamara Harvey, today announces full casting for her major new revival of David Hare's Olivier award-winning drama, Skylight. Harvey will direct Oscar Batterham (Edward), Jeany Spark (Kyra) and Jay Villiers (Tom). The production opens on 14 February, with previews from 9 February, running until 4 March.

The ability of plays from over two millennia ago to seem relevant to the contemporary world. speaking across the centuries of never-ending truisms of the human experience, never ceases to amaze.  Indeed, The Suppliant Women is the second oldest surviving play in existence and this new production clearly demonstrates its ongoing relevance with some shockingly contemporary analogues.  This is the opening play of David Greig's first season as artistic director at the Lyceum, and is adapted by Greig himself from the original by Aeschylus.
