Last night, at the opening night of Tim Firth and Gary Barlow's Calendar Girls the Musical, three Midlands leaders of the WI (or Women's Institute) headed backstage to meet the cast.

She is now returning to Mamma Mia! at the Novello Theatre to play Donna, having recently been in the show as her friend Tanya. The ABBA-themed jukebox musical is celebrating 20 years in the West End. The global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! celebrated its 20th anniversary in London's West End at the Novello Theatre on Saturday 6 April. Now, in the musical's 21st year, the producers are delighted to announce some major cast changes in the London production from Monday 10 June 2019. Mazz Murray, who has previously played Tanya in the London production, will be returning to the musical, but this time as Donna, and Kirsty Hoiles will join her as Tanya. Also new to the musical will be Cameron Burt as Sky, Melissa Nettleford as Ali, Sophie Matthew as Lisa, Taylor Bradshaw as Eddie and Danny Nattrass as Pepper. They will be joining Ricky Butt as Rosie, Richard Trinder as Sam, Neil Moors as Harry, Stephen Beckett as Bill and Lucy May Barker as Sophie. Caroline Deverill continues to play the role of Donna at certain performances.
1999 marked a momentous year for Scottish rock band Travis. Singer/songwriter Fran Healy, guitarist Andy Dunlop, drummer Neil Primrose, and bassist Dougie Payne had been together since the beginning of the decade, and were gearing up for the release of their sophomore album, The Man Who, following the release of their 1997 debut, Good Feeling. Though the album found moderate success in the UK and set the band up for extensive touring—opening for the likes of Oasis—Travis were still reasonably unknown internationally. All of that was about to change.

Imogen Heap and Guy Sigsworth have teamed up again to release a Frou Frou track “Guitar Song (Live)” today via Linda Perry and Kerry Brown's label,We Are Hear. After amicably disbanding in 2004, Heap and Sigsworth reunited in 2018 to tour as Frou Frou in conjunction with the Mycelia World Tour.
