Arianna Rosario to Lead Bay Street Theater's EVITA

Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the full cast and creative team for EVITA, a revival of the revolutionary musical with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, directed by Will Pomerantz and choreographed by Marcos Santana. The production will run as the final production in Bay Street Theater's 2018 Mainstage Season, from July 31 - August 26, 2018. Single tickets are on sale now, and tickets are also still available as part of a Mainstage Subscription.

Artistic Director Robert Falls announces Goodman Theatre's new 2018/2019 Season-a 14-play line-up of timely, original and inspired works curated by Falls in collaboration with his artistic associates. The new season, which begins in September and continues through July 2019, includes 10 full productions on the Goodman's stages (856-seat Albert Theatre and 350-seat flexible Owen Theatre) plus three free New Stagesdevelopmental productions, and one TBA production TBA staged as part of the Chicago Latino Theater Alliance's 2018 International Latino Theater Festival. The SRS Production Wing is currently reviving playwright Noah Haidle's 2005 hit MR.MARMALADE. Wondering what changed from that hit production to this current most nonsensical, two-hour puzzlement. Wanted so much to buy into the conceit that Lucy, a four-year-old (played with much commitment by the pig-tailed, adult Kaitlin Sullivan), would have such a vivid imagination, with such dire consequences as making herself miserable, unhappy, abused and with child.

Greenhouse Theater Center (GTC) and Artistic Director Jacob Harvey are pleased to announce the formation of the new MC-10 Playwrights Ensemble, a collection of ten of the country's most sought-after established and mid-career Chicago playwrights and theatre-makers. The ensemble will be in residence at the Greenhouse Theater Center and will create new works for its stages. Beginning with the 2018-19 season, the Greenhouse will present one play per season by MC-10 member playwrights, eventually expanding to two MC-10 productions per season.
