The Public Theater will begin previews on Tuesday, September 19 for the encore engagement of the acclaimed production of Tiny Beautiful Things, part of The Public's Astor Anniversary Season at their landmark downtown home on Lafayette Street, celebrating 50 years of new work at 425 Lafayette Street and the 50th Anniversary of HAIR.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced that single tickets are available now for The Public's Astor Anniversary Season at their landmark downtown home on Lafayette Street. Celebrating 50 years of new work at 425 Lafayette Street and the 50th Anniversary of HAIR, the season will include a new production from Elevator Repair Service, new plays by Luis Alfaro and Julia Cho, and an encore engagement of Nia Vardalos' acclaimed show Tiny Beautiful Things. The New Group presents the world premiere of All the Fine Boys, a new play from writer and director Erica Schmidt, featuring Abigail Breslin, Isabelle Fuhrman, Joe Tippett and Alex Wolff. The show opens tonight, March 1, for a limited Off-Broadway engagement playing through March 26 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (Ford Foundation Studio Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street).

The Public Theater announced complete casting today for TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS, based on the acclaimed book by best-selling author Cheryl Strayed and adapted for the stage by Academy Award-nominated writer Nia Vardalos, with direction by Thomas Kail. This richly funny, uplifting new show is co-conceived by Marshall Heyman, Thomas Kail, and Nia Vardalos and will also feature Vardalos as the anonymous online advice columnist 'Sugar.'
