Industry Readings of WEARING BLACK Set for Next Month

NewYorkRep and The Telling Company present a staged reading of WEARING BLACK, the new musical featuring book, music and lyrics by Riley Thomas.  Directed by Markus Potter, WEARING BLACK will play two performances on Monday, January 23, at 3PM and 7PM, at The Peter Jay Sharp Theater, 416 West 42nd Street. 

CIRCUMFERENCE OF A SQUIRREL to Continue Solo Celebration! at Greenhouse Theater Center

Greenhouse Theater Center is pleased to conclude its Solo Celebration! Series with the Chicago premiere of John Walch's savagely funny one-man show CIRCUMFERENCE OF A SQUIRREL, directed by Artistic Director Jacob Harvey and starring Will Allan. CIRCUMFERENCE OF A SQUIRREL will play January 13 - February 12, 2017 at The Greenhouse Theater Center (Upstairs Mainstage), 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago.

Matthew Spangler's Multimedia Work ALBATROSS to Make NYC Premiere at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters will host the New York premiere of ALBATROSS by Matthew Spangler and Benjamin Evett and directed by Rick Lombardo. Produced by The Poets' Theatre, Inc. (Arlington, MA) and Michael Seiden, ALBATROSS  begins performances on Thursday, January 12 for a limited engagement through Sunday, February 12. Press opening is Thursday, January 19 at 7:15 PM.

Royal Family Productions Presents a Reading of Keenan Scott II's THOUGHTS OF A COLORED MAN

 Royal Family Productions (Chris Henry, Artistic Director) will present a stage reading of Keenan Scott II's Thoughts of a COLORED MAN on a day when the sun set too early,  directed by Chris Henry  as part of its developmental series.  The reading will take place on Saturday, December 3 at 2pm at the Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 West 46th Street, 3rd Floor). 11th Hour Theatre Company Announces New Cabaret Series

11th Hour Theatre Company finishes 2016 with a brand-new series. The company is introducing The Spotlight Series, a cabaret series designed to put Philadelphia's favorite musical theatre performers front and center. Each show is one night only. All shows are upstairs at World Cafe Live Philadelphia, 3025 Walnut Street. Tickets cost $40. Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is pleased to announce its West Coast premiere production of … Claudio Quest. With music, lyrics and book by Drew Fornarola and Marshall Pailet, direction by Pailet, choreography by Maxx Reed and musical direction by Ryan O'Connell, Claudio Quest will preview from January 27 through February 3; regular performances will begin February 4 and continue through February 26 at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center on the Cripe Stage.
