The creation of Warner Max, a new film label that that will serve as the feature production arm of HBO Max, was announced today by Ann Sarnoff, Chair and CEO of Warner Bros., and Warner Media Entertainment and Direct-To-Consumer Chairman Robert Greenblatt. This unique joint venture between one of Hollywood's most successful movie studios and its sister company HBO Max, which launches in May, will ensure that the new platform has a steady stream of high-quality and highly curated original films.
HAIRSPRAY will launch a new North American tour in Fall 2020. Following the Baltimore launch November 10-15, 2020, HAIRSPRAY will visit more than 60 additional cities in its first touring season. Casting will be announced at a later date.
Amazon Studios today announced the first group of series regulars set to star in the new Amazon Original series based on stories from the iconic 'The Lord of the Rings' novels by J.R.R. Tolkien. Upper Deerfield residents will embrace their inner 'elf' when Woodruff School ACE Music presents their production of Elf The Musical JR., it was announced today by Drew Cohen, president of Music Theatre International (MTI). The show featuring 52 actors, 11-13/from 6th-8th Grade, premieres on December 12th, 2019. 'Elf The Musical JR. is an uplifting musical about one boy's quest to find his true identity.
