Application Deadline Extended For Shattered Globe's 'Global Playwrights Series'

Shattered Globe Theatre has extended the application deadline for its Global Playwright Series through Tuesday, August 31, 2021. GPS is a new play development program specifically aimed at BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse and disabled writers and those who fall within intersections of these identities. The program aims to connect SGT with new playwrights who want to collaborate, lead the development of their play and have it fully produced by Shattered Globe.

2019 Special Jeff Award Goes To Teatro Vista

The Jeff Awards will honor Teatro Vista with the 2019 Special Equity Jeff Award at the Equity Ceremony at Drury Lane Oakbrook on October 21, 2019. Teatro Vista announces the world premiere of Stephanie Alison Walker's The Abuelas, a sequel to her acclaimed play The Madres, February 9-March 17, 2019 at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Chicago Shakespeare Announces 18 Park Tour of Free ROMEO AND JULIET
