BWW Review: Opening Night Frantic Antics Fuel the Humor in Terrence McNally's IT'S ONLY A PLAY at the Morgan-Wixson Theatre

The playwright nervously awaiting the make-or-break review on opening night has been the setting of many stage and movie scenes. But in this play, McNally runs with the idea, taking no prisoners across two acts boasting almost as many Broadway name-drops as punch lines, all delivered with perfect comic timing by a cast of talented actors who know how important it is to both give and take with each other as the wide range of human emotions overcomes the a?oestarsa?? who hope and pray this play will revive their struggling careers. And all the while, the laughs abound non-stop.

Apple today released the first official trailer for its highly anticipated, original comedy series, 'Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet,' created by Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Megan Ganz - the team behind 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.' All nine, half-hour episodes of the live-action comedy will debut globally on Friday, February 7, exclusively on Apple TV+. The series is produced by Lionsgate, 3 Arts Entertainment and Ubisoft.

Celllist Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf Brings Broadway To Birdland, January 27

Broadway cellist Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf (Bridges of Madison County, A Little Night Music) will host an evening that explores beautiful melodies from Broadway and beyond. With Scots-born guitarist Steve Gibb, Mairi will also celebrate Robert Burns Night by weaving in some of Scotland's most beloved melodies, and inviting her guests to perform their own versions of Burns' timeless poetry. 

MYTHIC QUEST: RAVEN'S BANQUET to Premiere Friday, February 7 on Apple TV

Apple today announced that the highly anticipated comedy series, 'Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet' from Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day ('It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia') will debut globally on Friday, February 7, exclusively on Apple TV+. Tony-Winning Producer Jonathan Demar Will Make His Green Room 42 Debut This Fall

Jonathan Demar, Tony Award-winning producer of Hadestown and formerly of Broadway's A Christmas Carol, will make his Green Room 42 debut on November 10th at 7pm with an all new version of his solo show Setting the Standard.
