The Tony Award-nominated and Drama Desk Award-winning National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) ushers in its 107th season with stellar productions of the acclaimed musical Harmony: A New Musical by the legendary Barry Manilow and his longtime collaborator Bruce Sussman, a co-production with the New York City Opera of the world premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon's The Garden Of The Finzi-Continis, a virtual presentations of Kadye Molodowsky's Ale Fenster Tsu Der Zun (All the Windows Face the Sun), 15 Minute Yiddish (More or Less), and much more.

This July, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene will bring together more than 140 actors, singers and musicians from across globe for a sensational, one-time event - A Yiddish Renaissance: A Virtual Concert Celebration - filled with music and appearances by some of the most renowned Yiddish performers.

In celebration of this global revival in Yiddish, this summer National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene will bring together more than 140 actors, singers and musicians from across the United States and the world for a sensational, one-time event - A Yiddish Renaissance: A Virtual Concert Celebration.

National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene will kick off its Yiddish Women Playwrights Festival with a virtual reading of Chava Rosenfarb's play The Bird of the Ghetto (Der Foygl fun Geto), the first time the play will be presented in the language in which it was written, Yiddish.

Artists and performers from around the world join National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) to celebrate Purim virtually from February 22-25, 2021. The Purim Celebration features a stellar, star-studded line-up of Yiddish music, Cabaret, and a special reading of the Megiles Ester (The Book of Ester) in Yiddish.

On the eve of the highly-anticipated Presidential Inauguration of President-Elect Joseph R. Biden and Madam Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris, the cast of the critically-acclaimed off-Broadway hit, Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, released a rendition of “God Bless America” in Yiddish, featuring Academy and Tony Award winner Joel Grey and Steven Skybell.

Yiddish song, dance, comedy and celebration - from across the globe - come together when the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene presents a Folksbiene Chanukah Spectacular this December, featuring an international array of more than 50 stars - from Broadway music, movies and television to the Yiddish stage.

Initiated & hosted by National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene, a number of theatre companies will come together at 1:00 PM (ET) this Wednesday, October 28 to present an unprecedented virtual play reading - in Yiddish, English, Spanish, Italian, Turkish and Hebrew - of 'It Can't Happen Here', a dramatization of the 1935 novel by Sinclair Lewis.

This October, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (Folksbiene)-led by Zalmen Mlotek, Artistic Director, and Dominick Balletta, Executive Director-presents Folksbiene! LIVE: 'Welcome to Our Suke/Sukkah', a four-day festival of family-friendly performances during Chol Hamoed (the intermediary days of Sukkos) from October 5th to 8th.
