Ken Ludwig's LEND ME A TENOR Comes to The Long Beach Playhouse

Ken Ludwig's Lend me a Tenor is one of the best modern American farces to hit the stage. It's got it all: mistaken identity, drugged-induced confusion, lustful shenanigans, and operatic impersonation. One of the staples of Long Beach Playhouse's Collaborative each year has been Held2gether, Improv for Life's original sketch comedy shows.   This is the 6th annual collaboration between the Long Beach theatrical landmarks. The original sketch compilation, known for selling out, runs Thursday- Saturday February 28th - March 2nd in the Studio Theatre. The all-new show boasts 11 robust sketches touching upon universal relationships, outrageous characters, music, pop culture, and parodies of the time.

THE BELLE OF AMHERST takes place through the current and past experiences of EMILY DICKINSON'S life from 1830-1886 and is set in her home in Amherst Massachusetts. The reclusive nineteenth-century poet EMILY DICKINSON recollects her past through her work, her diaries and letters, and a few encounters with significant people in her life. WILLIAM LUCE'S classic play shows both the pain and joy of Dickinson's secluded life.

William Luce's classic play shows both the pain and joy of Dickinson's secluded life. Originally performed in 1976, directed by Charles Nelson Reilly and starring Julie Harris. The Belle of Amherst takes place through the current and past experiences of Emily Dickinson's life, 1830-1886 and is set in her home in Amherst Massachusetts.
