Two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage and director Kate Whoriskey will bring their latest Broadway triumph, “Clyde’s,” a co-production with Goodman Theatre in Chicago to the Mark Taper Forum November 15 to December 18. It recently concluded the Goodman engagement.

With 14 original songs played live, the story talks about friendship, love, respect, homophobia and especially, the struggle of an LGBTQIA+ person to conquer their space in society.

Luis A. Miranda, Jr., a political consultant and activist and father of Lin-Manuel Miranda, will serve as the next board chair at the Public Theater. He has served on the board since 2015.

Offering a mix of first-time nominees, along with reigning CMA Awards winners, artists taking the stage for performances this year include Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson, HARDY, Marcus King, Miranda Lambert, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, and Zac Brown Band.

Singer/songwriter Eleri Ward will celebrate her new album Keep A Tender Distance – the sublimely introspective folk guitar exploration of Stephen Sondheim’s singular musical theater canon – with a national concert tour. Ward will launch the tour with a show at New York’s Sony Hall on Monday, December 19, featuring special surprise musical guests.

As their production of Marvellous takes the West End by storm, Staffordshire's New Vic Theatre has announced a season of work that features an innovative theatrical experiment, a revival of a cult classic, a rare staging of a hit regency comedy and more, as they collaborate with partners across the country including Headlong Theatre and Told by an Idiot, for spring 2023.
