Two local teenagers are starring in TRAYF, Six Points Theater's latest production, running February 18 – March 12, 2023.  

Newfields has announced a new series of outdoor public art installations for The Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park that will activate the park and create dynamic opportunities for engagement and exploration.

The music video - directed by Edsel Dope and Co-Directed by Matt Zane  - features the Hellzapoppin Circus Sideshow performing stunts from their macabre sideshow. The circus has gained renown around the globe for their death-defying stunts and visual oddities. “Misery” is available via all streaming services and watch the visually captivating video.

The winners have been announced for the 2022 BroadwayWorld Atlanta Awards, honoring the best in regional productions, touring shows, and more which had their first performance between October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022. The audiences have voted and made their selections for the best theatre and performances.

In a thirteen-month time span, Maria Caruso's critically acclaimed solo dance theatre work made its way from off-Broadway to a global tour and finished with run in London's West End in the summer of 2022. Caruso's final performance will be streaming on Broadway On Demand, premiering on January 20, 2023.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center has announced that applications are now open for the 2023 National Puppetry Conference. Submissions will be accepted until Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at 11:59pm PST.

Maria-Cristina Fusté, Executive Artistic Director of Boundless Theatre Company and Melody Brooks, Artistic Director of New Perspectives Theatre Company are using the combined strengths of their two companies--NPTC has an award-winning history of developing new plays by women and BTC has a team of top-notch designers working on Broadway, Off-Broadway and in Regional theatres--to produce How to Melt ICE, a new play by Amalia Oliva Rojas, running Wednesday, February 1 to Saturday, February 11, 2023. The play is directed by Elena Araoz.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis will start the new year with Side by Side by Sondheim, a Sondheim revue (replacing Putting it Together: A Sondheim Review).

Avey Tare, the solo project of Animal Collective’s Dave Portner, will release his new album 7s on February 17 via Domino. Following three solo albums and one release under Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks, 7s was recorded with producer Adam McDaniel (Angel Olsen, Archers of Loaf) at Drop of Sun Studios in Portner’s hometown of Asheville, North Carolina.

Raven Theatre is continuing its 40th Anniversary Season with the Chicago premiere of Right To Be Forgotten, Sharyn Rothstein’s smart and timely story about human forgiveness in the age of the internet.

Producer Nick Cenci (Tommy James And The Shondells, Lou Christie) took them into the studio to record a cover of Petula Clark’s “You’re The One,” originally released on Blue Star Records. That track led to The Vogues signing with Co & Ce Records, and with new distribution, the single reached #4 on the charts.
