1812 Productions, Philadelphia’s all comedy theatre company, is pleased to announce the return of live performances for their popular political satire, THIS IS THE WEEK THAT IS.   A celebrated part of the Philadelphia theatre season for the past 16 years, the show delivers sharp satire and content that changes with the headlines. This year’s production will run April 28 through May 22, 2022 at Plays & Players Theatre, 1714 Delancey Place, Philadelphia.

Philly theatre favorites Jennifer Childs (1812's Producing Artistic Director) and Scott Greer, a real life married couple and veterans of the regional stage, will celebrate the return of live performance with their original cabaret, Two Outta Three, a heartfelt and humorous examination of empty nest syndrome, at Plays & Players Theatre from November 19 through November 21.

1812 Productions is proud to add new streaming and accessibility features to its virtual production of The Way I Walk. The Way I Walk is a premiere comedy from 1812 Productions' newly implemented Artistic Core, comprised of company co-founder and Producing Artistic Director Jennifer Childs and Philadelphia theatre artists Melanie Cotton, Tanaquil Márquez, and Bi Jean Ngo.

1812 Productions will present The Way I Walk. The first in a series of related projects premiering over the coming years, The Way I Walk will be performed live nightly for a streaming audience. The show will play from April 29 through May 23rd. Opening Night will be Wednesday, May 5 at 7:00pm.

1812 Productions has announced its 2020-2021 theatre season. The 2020-2021 season features four original comedic works that are being designed for virtual performance, with live performances tentatively scheduled for spring, 2021. Each production will feature a mixture of live performance and pre-recorded material and will be streamed through 1812 Productions' website.

Due to popular demand, Lightning Rod Special (LRS) creator of the Obie-Award winning Underground Railroad Game, will add one additional performance to the sold-out run of their newest critically-acclaimed work, The Appointment. The additional performance will take place on Sunday, May 4, 2019 at 3pm; the final performance will take place on May 4, 2019 at 7:30pm.
