In the dual role of director and actor, Christie Vela returns to Second Thought after portraying Mercedes Arranda in Enemies/People. Through a series of vignettes, the play explores gender politics, power dynamics, societal expectations, and the ways women continue to be stereotyped in the 21st century.  Revolt. She said.
