The Entertainment Community Fund has revealed the five recipients of the 2023 Alex Dubé Scholarship Program.

Motown, Broadway, concert and multi-Grammy-nominated recording star Freda Payne will present her nationally acclaimed musical show, A Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald, for one-night only Friday, February 16 at 8 p.m. at Marin Center's Showcase Theatre.

The Gateway's Annual Fundraiser, SHAKE THE SHORE, will take place at The Gateway in Bellport on July 29 at 6 PM. On Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 7:30pm in Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, yMusic will perform the world premiere of Allison Loggins-Hull's Supply, inspired by addictive relationships, and the New York premiere of former Carnegie Hall Debs Composer's Chair (2020/2021) Andrew Norman's Difference, both co-commissioned by Carnegie Hall.

A Christmas Carol, The Broadway Musical was originally staged at the famous Madison Square Garden and was brought to life by Broadway heavy hitters, Alan Menken (Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Disney's The Little Mermaid, Little Shop of Horrors) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Seussical, Once on This Island), with a book by Mike Ockrent & Lynn Ahrens.
