Angels in Science Fiction will release their new album from St. Paul & The Broken Bones. The record’s first single, “Sea Star,” is out now with an accompanying video, an homage to the band’s home state of Alabama that introduces the album’s themes—life and death, beauty and truth—directed by Gus Black.

Theatre Producers of Color (TPOC), the newly formed organization committed to supporting the next generation of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) producers by providing access to education, training, and mentorship, announced the return of their annual educational program – “Producing 101,” where aspiring producers are able to learn the fundamentals of commercial producing, including development paths, financing, budgeting, and more, with experienced BIPOC and White ally leaders as their guides, tuition free over 11 weeks.

We hear a lot about making Broadway accessible. Broadway ticket prices have outpaced inflation over the decades (by a lot) and cheap preview tickets were abandoned years ago, all leading to the impression that Broadway was not accessible for those with average, or below average, incomes. There have at least been attempts to combat that impression in recent years. But something that is still largely seen as an older rich people game is investing in Broadway. However, a bunch of people have been trying to change that in the last decade, with attempts heating up more recently.

On Saturday, May 14, 2022, Netflix hosted a Global Red Carpet and Premiere Screening event in celebration of “STRANGER THINGS 4” at Netflix Studios in Brooklyn, New York. The screening opened with remarks by: Ted Sarandos and Bela Bajaria of Netflix, followed by Shawn Levy and Matt & Ross Duffer. Afterward, the cast, creators and guests celebrated the series’ premiere at Netflix Studios Brooklyn, closing out the night.
