Casting has just been announced for the Broadway premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Preview performances will begin in New York at the fully renovated Lyric Theatre in March 2018 with an official opening on Sunday, April 22, 2018.

The 1st of September is the day students head off to Hogwarts, and this year it's 19 Years Later - the actual date that the epilogue of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ends and the play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, begins.

Director John Tiffany, who last night won an Olivier Award for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (one of a record-breaking nine gongs for the hit show) is helming the world theatrical premiere of Disney's beloved Pinocchio at London's National Theatre this December.
