Chart-topping rock band The Revivalists have surprised fans with the release of their Made In Muscle Shoals live studio EP and accompanying documentary, which was recorded and filmed at the legendary FAME Recording Studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama and directed by Jay Sansone of Human Being Media. Capturing the essence of The Revivalists at this exciting time in their 10-year journey, the documentary gives the deepest insight yet into what makes the band tick against the backdrop of Muscle Shoals, a location steeped in the many classic styles of American music that informs the New Orleans - based band's signature sound. The Revivalists bring us into the studio with them as they record the Made In Muscle Shoals EP, which features brilliant re-imaginings of the band's hit 'Oh No,' 'You & I,' 'Change,' and 'All My Friends' from their latest studio album, Take Good Care (Loma Vista Recordings), as well as a soulful rendition of The Bee Gees' 'To Love Somebody' and a gorgeous stripped down piano-and-vocal take of their platinum-selling hit 'Wish I Knew You.' The EP also includes a never-before-released, brand new song 'Bitter End' about being stuck in a one-sided love.
KATCHAFIRE, the award winning roots reggae band from New Zealand is coming back to the U.S. showcasing their unique sound with four shows in California. The eight piece band will kick off their tour at the One Love Cali Reggae Fest (Feb. 9th) in Long Beach, CA then to San Diego at the Music Box (Feb. 10th), and Pomona at the Glass House (Feb. 11th), and finally to San Francisco at the Great American Music Hall (Feb. 12th).

The GRAMMY AWARDS Premiere Ceremony took place at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 26, from 12:30-3:30 p.m. PT. Preceding the 62nd Annual GRAMMY AWARDS telecast, the Premiere Ceremony was hosted by two-time GRAMMY winner and current nominee Imogen Heap and featured a number of performances by current GRAMMY nominees. The University of Hawai'i at Mānoa's Department of Theatre and Dance and Kennedy Theatre are proud to present Winter Footholds: Kaleidoscope, a dance concert featuring undergraduate and graduate student choreography and performance, directed by Assistant Professor of Dance Peiling Kao. Kaleidoscope is a collection of eleven dances, among them a thesis work choreographed by Master of Fine Arts in Dance candidate Sophia Carter. Performances will take place February 26, 27, 28, 29, at 7:30 p.m., and March 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the Earle Ernst Lab Theatre. A post-show rap will follow the Friday, February 28 performance. Trinity Rep will continue its 2019-20 Season with a timeless classic retold, A Tale of Two Cities. Directed by Tyler Dobrowsky, who last brought audiences Little Shop of Horrors, this is a beautifully vibrant production that is at once sweepingly epic and profoundly personal. Based on the novel by Charles Dickens and adapted by resident acting company member Brian McEleney, the story famously depicts the best of times and worst of times. The Hippodrome Theatre in Gainesville and freeFall Theatre in St. Petersburg and have joined forces to co-present LONE STAR SPIRITS opening January 24 and closing February 16. The Hippodrome will then transfer the production to freeFall for performances at their venue opening on February 29 and running through March 29.
