The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, presents the Off-Broadway premiere of the acclaimed new musical Midnight at The Never Get, with book, music, and lyrics by Mark Sonnenblick, co-conceived by Sam Bolen, by arrangement with Visceral Entertainment and Mark Cortale Productions. Directed by Max Friedman, with choreography by Andrew Palermo, and music direction/arrangements by Adam Podd, the cast features Sam Bolen, Jeremy Cohen, and Jon J. Peterson. Performances began Tuesday, October 2, 2018 for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, November 4, 2018 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). THE GREEN ROOM 42 will celebrate of the life and work of legend Angela Lansbury with "The Angela Lansbury Power Playlist LIVE!" on Tuesday, October 16 at 7:00 PM. 

Tony Award nominee Jennifer Simard made her debut at The Green Room 42 on September 9 at 7:00 PM. Celebrated for her featured Broadway roles in Hello, Dolly!, Disaster! and more, Simard premiered her show 'Stigma' that celebrates the crazy in all of us, with laughs, tears, and rock-n-roll, featuring songs by some of her favorite artists.

It's a good thing Gianni Valenti built the new Birdland Theater incorporating substantial soundproofing material. The screams and laughter coming from last night's audience would have alarmed the upstairs music lovers enjoying a great performance in the legendary 'Jazz Corner of The World'

Paper Mill Playhouse presents the East Coast premiere of Half Time, a new musical, with book by Bob Martin and Chad Beguelin, music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Nell Benjamin and additional music by Marvin Hamlisch and Ester Dean. Half Time began performances May 31, 2018 for a limited engagement through Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ. Last night was the show's opening night. On Sunday, February 11th, the United Palace of Cultural Arts will kick off Valentine's Day festivities with a special screening of the beloved movie musical 'My Fair Lady.' One of Audrey Hepburn's iconic roles, the 1964 classic will be shown in all its glory on the Palace's 50-foot screen, ahead of the Broadway revival opening this spring.

A modern-day Hades gets more than he bargained for from a precocious Persephone in this spring's world premiere of 'The Maiden,' a rowdy reboot of the ancient Greek abduction myth by acclaimed genre-bending theater company The Nerve Tank. From tonight, March 28th to April 13th, The Nerve Tank will adapt the raw, downtown ambiance of The Club at La MaMa to the immersive production's setting: a dark trailer-park disco, replete with original music by multidisciplinary artist Admiral Grey.
