While schools are closed, Virginia Stage Company's Education and Community Engagement Department is offering online classes and workshops for students and the general public. Our Virginia Stage artists are here to teach, to entertain, and to connect with the community - even when we can't meet you in person. During the current pandemic, KPFK Radio's Arts in Review, Los Angeles's longest-running radio showcase on live theater and cabaret, will be airing short plays. The works are being produced by local small theaters and cabarets. The debut production will be Air Repertory Players' original adaptation of Mark Twain's The Diary of Adam and Eve, written and directed by Julio Martinez, starring James Greene (Mark Twain), Nick Rogers (Adam) and Irene Arranga (Eve).

Los Angeles-based HelMel Studios, founded by actor, artist and philanthropist Val Kilmer, and Austin, Texas-based Mosaic Sound Collective announce a strategic partnership, celebrating with multiple events during this year's March festival season. The two multidisciplinary nonprofits join forces in a “strategic bond” to offer each other a presence and footing in both cities, with Austin hosting the official kickoff next month.
