Sondheim's music soars at 54 Below in the final season of the celebrated series, SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED. The show returns 6/28. The late maestro himself would have been proud of this special night of his works!

54 Below has announced its lineup of performances for the upcoming week, featuring Sondheim Unplugged: The Final Season, Nicolas King, Hugh Panaro, and more. The schedule includes concerts, tribute performances, and new works from Broadway and cabaret artists.

The PYO Music Institute has announced the finalists and recipient of the 10th Annual Philadelphia Youth Orchestra Music Institute (PYOMI) Ovation Award at the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra’s 83rd Annual Festival Concert, held in Verizon Hall at The Kimmel Center on June 4, 2023.

PYO Music Institute (PYOMI) and its partners will continue recognizing outstanding music teachers through the 10th Annual Ovation Award. This award recognizes inspiration and leadership in music education. For over ten years, hundreds of current and former music students have shown appreciation for their music teachers through Ovation Award submissions. Beginning on March 6, 2023, current and former students of all ages are invited to nominate “the music teacher who changed my life” in a 250-word essay.

Due to unprecedented demand, RISING has today announced the extension of The Wilds, with their unprecedented takeover of the Sidney Myer Music Bowl set to run for an extra week until June 19. Tickets are on sale now (Adult: $22; Concession: $17; Child: $12). RISING takes place Wed 1 June—Sun 12 June 2022. The Wilds will take over Sidney Myer Music Bowl from Wed 1 June —Sun 19 June 2022 (no Mondays).

For the past five years, Philadelphia Youth Orchestra and its partners have heard wonderful, inspiring stories about music teachers in the Philadelphia region. And, now is the time for current and former students of all ages to, once again, nominate the 'music teacher who changed my life' for the 6th Annual Philadelphia Youth Orchestra Ovation Award. Nominees are asked to submit a 250-word statement about their special music teacher for the PYO Ovation Award, which is sponsored by Jacobs Music Company, J.W. Pepper and WRTI-90.1 FM.

The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is pleased to announce its panel of judges for the 2018 competition. Established in 2002, ISC is the world's largest songwriting competition and is open to both professional and amateur songwriters, signed and unsigned. A total of 71 winners in 23 categories share in over $150,000 in cash and prizes, including an overall Grand Prize consisting of $25,000 (US) cash, and much more.
