The New York City-based Kairos Italy Theater along with the Italy-based KIT Italia and Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò at NYU will present the 10th anniversary season of the In Scena! Italian Theater Festival NY, the festival of Italian theater taking place in all five boroughs of NYC, May 1-16.

Mambo Negro is as much of a home as it is a studio, fostering a community of musicians that wander freely through the space- many of whom ended up contributing to the record.
Titled Voices, the evening will feature radiant, emergent works including premieres she commissioned from Nomi Epstein and Sheree Clement, the New York premiere of Judith Weir’s Piano Concerto led by conductor James Baker, and two masterpieces by Mario Davidovsky: Synchronisms No. 6 (winner of the Pulitzer Prize) and Chacona.
