The New York City-based Kairos Italy Theater along with the Italy-based KIT Italia and Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò at NYU will present the 10th anniversary season of the In Scena! Italian Theater Festival NY, the festival of Italian theater taking place in all five boroughs of NYC, May 1-16.

K-pop quintet CIX opened the U.S. leg of their Save Me, Kill Me tour in New York City at Terminal 5 on Friday, March 10. The group, which is made up of Jinyoung, BX, Seunghun, Hyunsuk and Yonghee, brought the house down with style and professionalism despite a few minor technical difficulties.

This April, The Royal Ballet celebrates the return of International Draft Works, a pioneering choreographic showcase for international ballet companies to present work from new voices in the intimacy of the Linbury Theatre. Encouraging new ideas and giving exposure to rising talent, this programme brings together performances of new works that explore movement and new directions in classical ballet.

Chimborazo was recorded at Mambo Negro studio over 7 days in 2022, and produced by Colombian Producer Mario Galeano (Frente Cumbiero, Ondatrópica, Los Pirañas). Mambo Negro is as much of a home as it is a studio, fostering a community of musicians that wander freely through the space- many of whom ended up contributing to the record.

Titled Voices, the evening will feature radiant, emergent works including premieres she commissioned from Nomi Epstein and Sheree Clement, the New York premiere of Judith Weir’s Piano Concerto led by conductor James Baker, and two masterpieces by Mario Davidovsky: Synchronisms No. 6 (winner of the Pulitzer Prize) and Chacona.
