Eden Espinosa Extends Residency at the Green Room 42 Through March 22

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - the new intimate concert venue dubbed Broadway's 'off-night hotspot' by The New York Times - has announced that Broadway's Eden Espinosa (Wicked, Rent, Falsettos) will extend her acclaimed solo residency 'Unplugged & Unplanned' for three more shows due to popular demand. Originally scheduled to run through Friday, February 28, performances have been added on Friday, March 6 at 9:30 PM; Sunday, March 15 at 7:00 PM; and Sunday, March 22 at 9:30 PM. Inspired by the energy of the new decade, Espinosa is shaking things up to try something she's never done before: a laid-back evening of intimate dialogue, taking requests, special guests, spontaneous moments and off-the-cuff stories. Featuring selections from both of her albums, Broadway hits, pop covers, songs she's never sung before and more, 'Unplugged & Unplanned' delivers a different experience at every performance.

Menier Chocolate Factory Announces Spring Season For 2020

With the critically acclaimed production of The Boy Friend currently running at the theatre, the Menier Chocolate Factory today announce the forthcoming two productions a?" the European première of Paula Vogel's Tony Award-winning play Indecent, directed by Rebecca Taichman; and Alan Bennett's Habeas Corpus directed by Patrick Marber, who returns to the Menier following his smash-hit production of Tom Stoppard's Travesties.

Broadway cellist Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf (Bridges of Madison County, A Little Night Music) will host an evening that explores beautiful melodies from Broadway and beyond. With The Watsons currently running at the Menier and Fiddler on the Roof at the Playhouse Theatre, the Menier Chocolate Factory today announces further casting for Matthew White's revival of Sandy Wilson's The Boy Friend as the company begin rehearsals. Joining Jack Butterworth (Bobby van Husen), Janie Dee (Mme Dubonnet), Adrian Edmondson (Lord Brockhurst), Tiffany Graves (Hortense), Dylan Mason (Tony), Amara Okereke (Polly) and Issy van Randwyck (Lady Brockhurst) are Tom Bales (Alphonse), Ryan Carter (Pierre), Chloe Goodliffe (Nancy), Matthew Ives (Pépé), Bethany Huckle (Lolita), Emily Langham (Fay), Gabrielle Lewis-Dodson (Maisie), Annie Southall (Dulcie), Peter Nash (Marcel) and Robert Portal (Percival Brown). The production opens on 3 December, with previews from 22 November, and runs until 7 March 2020.

Maria Friedman and Anita Dobson join the company of Trevor Nunn's critically acclaimed production of Fiddler on the Roof, which is currently running at the reconfigured Playhouse Theatre until 28 September. Friedman plays Golde, and Dobson plays Yente from 18 June, taking over from Judy Kuhn and Louise Gold respectively.
