MRS. DOUBTFIRE has re-released their 'As Long As There is Love' video to mark the one-year anniversary of the Broadway shutdown. MRS. DOUBTFIRE the Broadway musical played 3 previews at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre before an executive order from the Governor of New York State shut down Broadway on March 12, 2020.

In honor and celebration of Nick's memory, over 150 of his friends, colleagues, and family from all over the world came together to sing the song that will keep Nick in our hearts forever 'One of the Great Ones' from A Bronx Tale. The resulting video was featured during the streaming of the memorial.

Mrs. Doubtfire has announced a digital rush ticket policy for the Broadway production, which begins performances Monday, March 9 in advance of an official opening night on Sunday, April 5 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 W 43rd St).

Broadway's Mrs. Doubtfire begins performances tonight, Monday March 9 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre and to celebrate, the show will be initiating its a?oeHelp Is On The Waya?? campaign by treating Joe Coffee customers in Bryant Park to a complimentary cuppa courtesy of Euphegenia Doubtfire herself.

Mrs. Doubtfire, the new musical produced by multi-Tony Award winner Kevin McCollum (Avenue Q, Rent, In The Heights, Something Rotten!), based on Twentieth Century Fox Motion Picture, has announced the full cast for the Broadway production. Previews begin Monday, March 9 in advance of an official opening night on Sunday, April 5 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 W 43rd St).

Do you have what it takes to win? CCT presents the regional premiere of Bring It On: The Musical in two different locations! The premiere weekend from August 8-10, 2019 will be performed at Eastmoor Academy High School, and the weekends following from August 16-25, 2019 will be performed at The Garden Theatre.

Columbus Children's Theatre's (CCT) international award-winning Summer Youth Performance Conservatory presents ONCE ON THIS ISLAND JR., directed by Ryan Scarlata, opening today, July 27 thru August 7 at the Park Street Theatre.  Featuring a talented troupe of 30 ranging from ages 10-15, these kids have worked diligently for most of the summer to tell the story of forbidden love on an island divided by social prejudice.

Party goers celebrated the past year in local theater (as well as some national awards sprinkled in). Red carpet started the event along with performances, home baked cookies, and awards as local actor and theatre lover Jeb Bigelow brought to Central Ohio an awesome (locally grown) awards show at the Bluestone on March 18, 2016.

Columbus Children's Theatre will present Snoopy!!! April 7-24, 2016 at Park Street Theatre located at 512 Park Street. This production is directed by Chris Rusen. Based on the comic strip 'PEANUTS' by Charles M. Schultz, Book by Charles M. Schultz Creative Associates, Warren Lockhart, Arthur Whitelaw and Michael L. Grace, Music by Larry Grossman, Lyrics by Hal Hackady. Snoopy!!! is sponsored by MetLife Premier Client Group of Ohio.

Weeks of rehearsals, discussion, sharing of pictures, videos, and personal testimonies have all occurred while Columbus Children's Theatre (CCT) has been preparing for its third annual trip to the Junior Theater Festival (JTF) in Atlanta, Georgia. However, these efforts simply do not suffice to describe the energy of this event. I am reminded just how magical and transformative theatre is as I look at the faces of the 28 CCT students here at JTF - most which are attending for their first time. As I see the reactions from these kids walking through the doors for the first time, I cannot help but think how amazing the experience is for all of us, and how proud I am of the students who have crossed this threshold before and are willing and eager to provide guidance to their peers.

One of the dangers of hearing a great Broadway melody by itself is it loses its context. Such is the case with SEND IN THE CLOWNS. Everyone has covered the song from Stephen Sondheim's A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, from Judy Collins to Frank Sinatra to Krusty the Clown with the later one being my personal favorite.

Columbus Children's Theatre will make their third appearance at the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta this year with their Summer Youth Conservatory production of SEUSSICAL JR. Be one of the lucky ones and catch it now at the Park Street Theatre through July 19, 2015.
