Origin Theatre Company, the city's only theatre company devoted to presenting the American premieres of new works by Europe's brightest contemporary playwrights, presents the world premiere of the acclaimed Italian-born playwright Marco Calvani's new play "Beautiful Day Without You," beginning Thursday November 1. Directed by Erwin Maas, "Beautiful Day Without You" features a cast of three that includes Dan Butler ("Bulldog" on TV's Frasier and last season's "Travesties" on Broadway), Richarda Abrams and Anne Son.

As BroadwayWorld reported in August, the acclaimed revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein's classic musical Carousel, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien and choreographed by 2018 Tony Award winner Justin Peck, will play its final Broadway performance at the Imperial Theatre today, September 16, 2018. Preview performances began on Wednesday, February 28 and Carousel officially opened on Thursday, April 12, 2018.

Directed by Elyse Niblett-Russell, the film was written and produced by Cece King (“Marvel's Jessica Jones,” “The Good Fight”), and stars King, Charlie Bewley (TWILIGHT, “Colony”), Margaret Colin (INDEPENDENCE DAY, UNFAITHFUL), Constance Schulman (“Orange is the New Black”) and James Russo (DJANGO UNCHAINED). Produced by Ramfis Myrthil, Jeff Solema, Janek Ambrose, Charlie Bewley and Julie Helton, THE BROKEN ONES is set for release on multiple VOD platforms and DVD on July 10th.
