English National Opera has announced its 2026/27 Season across London and Greater Manchester, featuring nine operas, with six new productions, four operas by contemporary female composers and opportunities for the next generation of opera makers.

Miles Franklin’s best known work, MY BRILLIANT CAREER is given the musical theatre treatment for a modern age by Sheridan Harbridge (Book), Dean Bryant (Book and Lyrics) and Mathew Frank (Music) and the outcome is amazing.

English National Opera has announced that Du Yun's Pulitzer Prize-winning opera Angel's Bone will open at the London Coliseum in October, following its UK premiere in Greater Manchester in May, marking a bold expression of ENO's dual-centre model. Angel's Bone opens at Aviva Studios, Manchester, home of Factory International, on 12 May 2026 before arriving at the London Coliseum on 16 October 2026.

Multi-award-winning Cynthia Erivo is having a pretty good year: still riding high on the success of the Wicked films and nominated for an MBE in the 2026 New Year Honours list, she is now going back to her stage roots in Kip Williams's adaptation of Bram Stoker's gothic masterpiece, Dracula. Anticipation about her appearance has been fevered, but the result is a lot of style, but not enough substance.

An exhilarating new satire on social media, class and how we live in unreal worlds bursts onto the Donmar stage in a frenzy of must-see vigour. Writer/director Kip Williams – who made his West End debut with Olivier and Tony award-winning The Picture of Dorian Gray, starring Succession's Sarah Snook – returns with his bang up-to-date adaptation of Jean Genet's play based on sisters Christine and Lea Papin, who murdered their employer and her daughter in 1933.

Tickets for Sydney Theatre Company's production of DRACULA, starring Cynthia Erivo, adapted and directed by visionary theatre-maker Kip Williams, will have a Priority On-Sale on Monday 22 September.
