A second season of last year's popular concert series features more stars than one could have thought possible, as live entertainment returns to the area.

While filming a virtual benefit for the York Theatre, Andre De Shields was surprised by two producers and a Senator.

Senator Brad Hoylman surprised the Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award winner André De Shields with a Senate Proclamation on Thursday April 8th, 2021 proclaiming the day “André De Shields Appreciation Day”. The surprise proclamation was arranged by producer Tom D’Angora to honor the extensive charity work Mr. De Shields has done for the community this year.

NY PopsUp has announced the lineup for its next performance, taking place this Saturday, February 27. This weekend's performance will feature a 'musical collaboration' between Gavin Creel, Shoshana Bean, Ximone Rose, Nadia Digiallonardo, Meg Toohey, and Marq Walls.

The inaugural NY PopsUp performance took place on Saturday, February 20, at 12:30 for staff at the Javits Center.  The event was a NYC Love Riot led by Jon Batiste, featuring Ayodele Casel and Anthony Roth Costanzo in Manhattan and Brooklyn. 

Featuring new performers with every show, the weekly, award-winning Piano Bar Live! will stream this Tuesday, February 23 at 7:15 pm ET, with host Scott Barbarino and guests Pamela Clay, Trip Kennedy, Gina Milo and Tracy Stark, plus Mystery Guests and MORE!
