Nashville Symphony Announces 2019/20 Season

The Nashville Symphony has announced the lineup for its 2019/20 season, which kicks off in September and features an extensive variety of classical, pops, jazz and family concerts, including top-flight guest artists, film favorites with live orchestral accompaniment, unique speaker events and much more. At the heart of this concert programming, Maestro Giancarlo Guerrero will lead the orchestra in its flagship Classical Series, which includes everything from masterworks by Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Berlioz and Beethoven to boundary-pushing contemporary American works.

December Shows Announced At The Moonlight Amphitheatre

Moonlight Presents offers two holiday events in December at the Moonlight Amphitheatre. Sponsored by Dr. Bronner's, the shows include the Doo Wop Project Christmas, featuring stars of Broadway's "Jersey Boys" and "Motown: the Musical," on Sat., Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. Amongst the singers is San Diego native Charl Brown who began his musical theatre journey as a student at the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts. He would go on to appearing in a number of shows locally, including The Moonlight's "Ragtime" in 2002, before going on to Broadway. Tickets are priced $15 - $40. On Sat., Dec. 8, experience the holiday favorite "Home Alone" on a big screen with pre-movie activities including a snow play area for the kids. Tickets are $5 or $10. Some of the biggest names from film, television and music including Kelsea Ballerini, Tyra Banks, Kane Brown, Chloe x Halle, Macaulay Culkin, Lauren Daigle, Billy Eichner, Sara Gilbert, Kathryn Hahn, Amber Heard, Vanessa Hudgens, Taran Killam & Leighton Meester, Heidi Klum, Liza Koshy, Lenny Kravitz, Normani, Rita Ora, Busy Philipps, Bebe Rexha & Florida Georgia Line ,Thomas Rhett, Evan Ross & Ashlee Simpson-Ross, John Stamos, Amandla Stenberg, The Chainsmokers, Constance Wu, and the cast of "Bohemian Rhapsody" including Rami Malek, Joseph Mazzello & Gwilym Lee will take the stage throughout the night.

Actor John Heard Dead at 71

Page Six has announced that actor John Heard was pronounced dead on Friday, July 21. The actor was 71. His death comes shortly after a minor back surgery, but the cause is not yet determined.

Ice Factory Festival Late-Night Performance Salon FRIDAYS ON ICE

Rob Schneider Returns to his Roots Performing His New Stand-Up Live at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Today

Saturday Night Live alumni and star of feature films Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, The Hot Chick, The Benchwarmers, and much more, Rob Schneider returns to his roots performing his new stand-up LIVE at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Today, March 10 at 8pm as part of the Barts Tree Service Comedy Series.  From his TV debut on David Letterman to his appearance on HBO's "13th Annual Young Comedians Special" to being hired as a writer on Saturday Night Live, Rob Schneider quickly became an on-air regular and fan favorite. He created characters that people around the country imitated and adored, including the "Copy Machine Guy," the "Orgasm Guy," and the "Put Your Weed In There Guy."
