Paines Plough To Tour Luke Norris' Award Winning Play GROWTH In Autumn 2017

Luke Norris' award winning production of Growth will embark upon a second UK tour this Autumn. The production originally debuted at Paines Plough's ROUNDABOUT @ SUMMERHALL at Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2016 and won a prestigious Fringe First award before touring the UK.

Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres Robert Hastie today announces his inaugural season. The new season opens with Hastie directing William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar bringing Shakespeare back to the Crucible; this will be followed in the Studio by the winner of the new annual RTST Director Award Scheme Kate Hewitt directing the regional premiere of Nina Raine's Tribes.  

Paines Plough Announces Full Cast and Creative Team for ROUNDABOUT 2016

Paines Plough, the UK's leading new writing company, is delighted to announce full cast and creative team for its Roundabout 2016 productions. Accomplished stage and screen actors Remy Beasley, Richard Corgan and Andy Rush will form an ensemble to perform the company's three new plays which will premiere from 5 to 28 August at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe before touring the UK.  The productions will be directed by Paines Plough's Joint Artistic Director, George Perrin with Sound Designer Dom Kennedyand Lighting Designer Prema Mehta completing the creative team.

Originally scheduled to run through June 25, Joe Penhall's BLUE/ORANGE has extended until July 2, 2016 at the Young Vic. David Haig will join Daniel Kaluuya and Luke Norris in the cast when the production begins tonight, May 12.

David Haig, Luke Norris and Daniel Kaluuya star in the revival of Joe Penhall's BLUE/ORANGE at the Young Vic, directed by Matthew Xia. The production runs May 12 to July 2, and works from a slightly updated version of Penhall's Olivier Award-winning play. Blue/Orange, which centres on a man confined to a psychiatric ward, examines race, ethics, sanity and prejudice in a sharp state-of-the-nation examination. Over 5000 on stage seats go on sale today (22 December 2014) for the West End transfer of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge led by Mark Strong as Eddie Carbone. In addition, tickets for an additional preview performance also go on sale today with the run now beginning at the Wyndham's Theatre on 10 February 2015.
