Acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, A View from the Bridge opened at the Young Vic in April where the production enjoyed an extended sell-out run. In keeping with the Young Vic's commitment to accessible pricing, at each performance of A View from the Bridge at Wyndham's Theatre there will be £10 seats for Under 26s plus over 50 tickets at under £20 for every weekday performance.

Arthur Miller confronts the American dream in this dark and passionate tale. In Brooklyn, longshoreman Eddie Carbone welcomes his Sicilian cousins to the land of freedom. But when one of them falls for his beautiful niece, they discover that freedom comes at a price. Eddie's jealous mistrust exposes a deep, unspeakable secret - one that drives him to commit the ultimate betrayal.

Mark Strong's extensive theatre work includes Sam Mendes' production of Twelfth Night at the Donmar Warehouse in 2002, performed in repertory with Uncle Vanya, David Thacker's production of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, Patrick Marber's Closer and Peter Gill's production of Speed-the-Plow. Strong has also worked extensively for the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre. His many television credits include Our Friends in the North, The Long Firm, The Buddha of Suburbia and two seasons of Prime Suspect. On film his credits include Morten Tyldum's The Imitation Game, Rowan Joffe's Before I Go to Sleep as well as Closer to the Moon, Mindscape, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Young Victoria, Syriana and Zero Dark Thirty. He has enjoyed notable collaborations with directors Guy Ritchie on Sherlock Holmes, RocknRolla and Revolver, Ridley Scott on Robin Hood and Body of Lies and Matthew Vaughn on Kick-Ass, Stardust and the upcoming release of Kingsman: The Secret Service, he will also be seen in Mark Elijah Rosenberg's Ad Inexplorata due for release next year.

Following the Young Vic's award-winning production of A Doll's House starring Hattie Morahan which transferred to the Duke of York's Theatre in 2013, A View from the Bridge is produced in the West End by the Young Vic. The critically acclaimed production of The Scottsboro Boys, directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman, ran at the Young Vic in 2013 and continues at the Garrick Theatre to 21 February 2015.
