Mark Strong leads the cast as Eddie Carbone in the West End transfer of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge. Ivo Van Hove's five star Young Vic production plays at the Wyndham's Theatre for a strictly limited eight week season to 11 April 2015. Acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, A View from the Bridge opened at the Young Vic in April last year where the production enjoyed an extended sell-out run. Mark Strong leads the cast as Eddie Carbone and is joined by fellow cast members Emun Elliott as Marco, Phoebe Fox as Catherine, Michael Gould as Alfieri, Richard Hansell as Louis, Luke Norris as Rodolpho and Nicola Walker as Beatrice. Design and lighting is byJan Versweyveld with costumes designs by An D'Huys.

In keeping with the Young Vic's commitment to accessible pricing, at each performance of A View from the Bridge at Wyndham's Theatre there will be £10 seats for Under 26s plus over 50 tickets at under £20 for every weekday performance.

On Thursday 26 March 2015 at 7pm, cinema audiences will have the opportunity to watch A View from the Bridge broadcast from the Wyndham's Theatre in London's West End as part of National Theatre Live. The National Theatre's ground-breaking project, NT Live, broadcasts the best of theatre live from the stage to cinemas across the UK and around the world. Over 1500 screenings will take place in over 40 countries with further encore screenings to be announced. Details of all screenings can be found at ntlive.com

Arthur Miller confronts the American dream in this dark and passionate tale. In Brooklyn, longshoreman Eddie Carbone welcomes his Sicilian cousins to the land of freedom. But when one of them falls for his beautiful niece, they discover that freedom comes at a price. Eddie's jealous mistrust exposes a deep, unspeakable secret - one that drives him to commit the ultimate betrayal.

Ivo van Hove has been General Director of the Toneelgroep Amsterdam since 2001 where his productions include Mary Stuart, The Fountainhead, Long Day's Journey into Night, Scenes from a Marriage, The Miser, Husbands, Children of the Sun, And We'll Never Be Parted, Theorem, Summer Trilogy, Antonioni Project, Cries and Whispers, The Human Voice, Rocco and his Brothers, Angels in America and Roman Tragedies. His other theatre directing credits include Strange Interlude and Ludwig II for Munich Kammerspiele, Edward II andThe Misanthrope for the Schaubühne Berlin, Scenes from a Marriage, The Little Foxes, Hedda Gabler and A Streetcar Named Desire for New York Theatre Workshop, The Lady of Camellias for Schauspielhaus Hamburg and The Miser for Staatstheater Stuttgart). In March he directs Antigone at the Barbican. He has also directed for film, television and opera.

Following the Young Vic's award-winning production of A Doll's House starring Hattie Morahan which transferred to the Duke of York's Theatre in 2013, A View from the Bridge is produced in the West End by the Young Vic. The critically acclaimed production of The Scottsboro Boys, directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman, ran at the Young Vic in 2013 and continues at the Garrick Theatre to 21 February 2015.
