Lin-Manuel Miranda revealed the cast for the forthcoming musical film adaptation of Dave Malloy's Octet, which will include Amanda Seyfried, Rachel Zegler, Phillipa Soo, Gaten Matarazzo, Jonathan Groff, and more.

Patti LuPone, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Cynthia Nixon, Alan Cumming, and several more from the Broadway community have signed a new open letter opposing the proposed merger between Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount. 

Lin-Manuel Miranda is set to direct the musical film adaptation of Dave Malloy’s Octet. Casting has yet to be announced for the film, and will be forthcoming.

The Public Theater has opened the world premiere of Public Charge, co-written by former U.S. Ambassador Julissa Reynoso and Michael J. Chepiga. Opening night attendees included Clinton, Dr. Jill Biden, and a range of political and theater figures. See photos of the event.
